I only have 1 tube original.gif

My obgyn (the one who performed my surgery), said it ultimately won't affect our chances of conceiving, although it might take longer to conceive, because if I ovulate from the side without a tube, it's a little harder for the egg to be sucked over to the opposite 'good' tube to be fertilized.

I know plenty of ladies who have conceived after an ectopic and tube loss. It just takes a little longer original.gif

Hi Ladies

Just dropping in here to tell you that last night I got my BFP. Baby number 2 is due on 14 January 2013.

I got a BFP in July last year after the first cycle of trying for number 2 but in August it was identified as an ecptopic pregnancy and I lost my left tube.

This BFP has come at such a wonderful time as I was due to have a laproscopy next month as my FS wanted to check that my remaining right tube was OK. He advised us that he believed it wasn't and that we may need to prepare ourselves for IVF.

I wish you all the best luck in the world. Thank you for your support over the last 6 months.

Hi i'm new this and forums around babies altogether!
I'm 30yrs old and have had 2 failed pregnancies one molar in 2010 and last October an ectopic where i lost my left tube.

We have been TTC for the last 5 mths with no success and i just had a pelvic scan Friday that apparently was fine and now going to a specialist to see what he can do.
Interested to hear from others and have already read some success stories on here so glad to hear!
