Heard about this online. Seems to have pretty good reviews. Just wondering if anyone here has tried it and if it worked for you?

Amazon don't ship this to Australia though. Does anyone know if there are any Australian stockists?
Thanks

Bought one from a local baby goods store a few years ago. Baby was a few weeks old when I got it though and I don't think it worked at all. Would be best to use it from birth if you want to use one at all.

We have one and DD has been a crap sleeper since birth (she's 10 months now)... It was a gift at the baby shower. Its a cute toy but not so much of a sleep aid (for us) original.gif

I agree with PP, cute toy but I don't think it made any difference. I wouldn't go to too much trouble trying to find one, I think any kind of music/white noise would do a similar job.

Mum to two boys!! :O
You can get similar noise machines at places like Myer. They don't come in a cute sheep but I wouldn't be putting that in the cot anyway. We have used noise machines for both our kids - and actually use one ourselves as DH is a light sleeper. They can be very useful.

If it's just white noise you're after, iTunes has a few options. We just have an old iPod in his room on repeat.

We use it in DS room to 'even out' the noise when he is unsettled.

Hi it's cute but actually counterproductive as a white noise sleep aid because it cuts out after 45 mins. Baby sleep cycles are 40 mins so allowing a few minutes for the initial settling, it turns off right when bub is transitioning across the sleep cycles and is most likely to wake up.

iPod on repeat is better.

I downloaded an ap onto my old iPhone for white noise and you can set what noise you want and how long you want it to play for.
