Oh, that is just heartbreaking. No parents should ever have to go through what they are experiencing right now.

How lovely of Brooke to acknowledge all of the wonderful medical staff who worked so hard to care for little Jack.

My deepest condolences to the entire Hanson-Clarke famiy and their loved ones.

Broke my heart reading this in the paper this morning. I gave my little one an extra big cuddle, she was born 13 weeks early. I often look at her and while thanking the universe that her journey was a good one I often wonder why hers was and others like little Jack's wasn't. Rips me to the core "thinking" about the worst case scenario...can't imagine what Brooke and Jared and family are going through.

The article is wonderful. Obviously the family had great support at the hospital.

A reminder to us all that not all babies do survive. Prematurity is still precarious. sad.gif
