I'm long over due for a new washing machine. Tossing up getting a front loader as one of these will best fit my laundry - my current top loader sticks out quite a bit to get out the laundry door.

Just wondering if you think front loaders crease clothes less or more?

I have a front loader and you can adjust the rpm for most cycles on the machine - it's the higher rpm that spins your clothes drier and makes them wrinkley

I was just going to say the same thing. Also hang them out quickly after they finish washing and they'll be less creased.

My front loader has a crease care option (the wash takes a little longer) and it works quite well.. I only have to shake out all tops and shirts... no iron needed original.gif also can select rpm for every program...

it's an LG intello washer (4 years old)

Frontloaders are just a better machine all 'round IMO. And yes, they do crinkle clothes less if you change the settings.

Same, I have a special non iron selection on my Bosch, if you don't take them out straight away or overload it the load will come out creased.

I use the high RPM for towels and sheets and put whites in the stained cycle (long cycle with high temp and RPM) and they come out creased but the clothes I put in there needs ironing anyway. DH starches his work shirts and I starch DS school shirts.

My new F&P top loader( flame me but I PREFER a top loader!) has an easy iron cycle on it. Less spin but damper clothes.
I've not used it yet as I prefer a faster spin and less drying time, plus we iron most cotton clothes(husbands shirts and pants etc) anyway.
I love my new washing machine, the nappies are so much cleaner than in the old one.

i have a front loader and i always put the laundry out to dry immediately after the washing, so they never get creased.

Front loader is a lot gentler on clothes. I have a Miele and its fab.
