My daughter just came out of her bedroom with an empty milk sippy cup... But it wasn't the one I gave her this morning. Obviously she stashed it in there yesterday without us noticing or DP gave it to her when she went to bed (something we dont do, I wasnt home though).

If she has drank some yesterdays non-refrigerated milk, what will happen? What should I do if she gets sick? Is it like a hospital thing or just keep her hydrated? I have no idea. Thanks

girls girls girls.. that's all he knows how to make!
My 2 year old took a sip out of a drink bottle that was in our turned off fridge in our bus yesterday. We haven't been in the bus since November of last year. And she seems to be fine today original.gif

But ewwww!

She'll probably be fine. Just keep an eye on her.

Off milk chucks tend to be rapid, violent and short lived. If she chucks, it will be soon and she will be fine. Give her some water, don't make a fuss and carry on as though it never happened.

I'm sure she'll be fine, at worst it will give her an upset tummy but proablyb wasn't even off if it's only from yesterday (unless very warm where you are).

Certainly won't poison her or anything.

I would think if it was off it'd taste WAY too bad to drink much of.
I'd wait and see if she gets sick before I'd worry about further action. And I'd see how sick she was first too.
it might mean a vomit or a runny poo, but unless it goes on for 24 hours or so I wouldn't think it's a big deal.

Ah cool thanks everyone! She seems absolutely fine, just had a big lunch too, just thought I'd check it wasn't anything too dangerous.

Agree with all PP, I wouldn't worry. Dd found an old sippy cup with some juice in it that had been in the car for at least 2 MONTHS (I know because it'd been missing for ages). It was putrid looking and she took a sip before I could get it off her sick.gif She was fine.
