What is your favourite thing to buy from Cake Stalls?

How much would you pay for them?

Would you pay a little bit more (like 50 cents more) if you knew it was for a childrens charity?

Coconut ice and chocolate fudge.

$3.50 to $5 depending on the serving size.

If you had a donation tin on the table, my change would end up in there original.gif

Ripper idea, hadnt thought of that. Thank you original.gif

A yummy home made slice is always good. Something I can eat on the spot. Anything made with reasonable quality chocolate and ingredients yum!

I might not pay more but I'd be inclined to buy more if it were for charity.depends on your pricing.

Oh and taste testers are a sure way of getting me to buy from you so if you can have samples I would.

Cupcakes, brownies, fudge and caramel popcorn in bags-easy stuff you can eat whilst walking around really.
I wouldn't pay anything more than usual if the money was going to a children's charity, I don't believe children's charities are more worthy than any other cause. All are equal to me

Jam drops and I second the idea for the tin on the table especially if its clearly labeled and if you had flyers about, stating what the charity does.

I prefer biscuits, slices, sweets and dense cakes made from good quality ingredients. I'm a huge fan of the cake stall but so many people just make rubbish that it largely ends up in the bin with me not returning.

I find lighter cakes such as butter cakes, cupcakes, sponges, lamingtons and scones are always stale from cake stalls. I even purchased a banana bread recently that the woman raved about as it was her mothers recipe. Got home and tucked in and it tasted a week old sick.gif
