I'm a monkey in a long line of kings
A few of the comments in the 'I'm so beautiful women hate me thread' got me thinking.

With two daughters I worry about how they will percieve themselves - 90% of girls will 'diet' before aqe 14 and the blatant 'you need to be sexy to be beautiful' fashion I find sickening.

However if a woman comes out and says 'I'm happy with my looks' they tend to get criticized and torn apart by other women. I dont agree with the original article this is a spin off from but it's interesting - I don't think I have ever heard any of my female friends say they are happy with their looks. Ever.

I'll be brave. I am pretty happy with my looks. Sometimes I think that if I had a million dollars I'd do a few things but I think if it really came down to it I don't think I would. I'm even happy with my premature crows feet developing, I think it just means I've laughed a lot already original.gif

So....do you think you're beautiful?

I'm not even close to beautiful. I don't despise how I look though. It's just me.

Nope I definitely don't think I'm beautiful, in fact I would go so far as to say I believe I got hit with the ugly stick cry1.gif I hate my looks, hate seeing photos of myself, to the point where I refuse to get them taken. My girls on the other hand will definitely be good looking girls, so I'm happy about that!

Sometimes. I think everyone has off days though and even the worlds most beautiful women would feel the same.

Interesting question. I don't think I'm objectively beautiful. I don't think I'm ugly though...Just not 'beautiful' per se. I definitely have insecure moments, especially when I see women who are beautiful. But those feelings are fleeting and rare.

I feel very attractive in the eyes of my other half, but not really in the eyes of others if that makes sense?

Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur.
I've had lots of people tell me I am. I have a couple of features I think are pretty darn good.

At the moment with my post-World's Greatest Shave hair, I'm rocking "quirky" rather than "beautiful". More Tilda Swinton/Annie Lennox than Anne Hathaway
