So, which book is your favourite? Which is your kids favourite? biggrin.gif

I loved 'And to think that I saw it on Mulberry Street' when I was younger. Alas, neither of my kids like this one. Tounge1.gif

They both enjoy 'I wish that I had duck feet' though.

I never really got into 'the cat in the hat' or 'green eggs and ham', though I know they're classics.

You?

Shape-shifting Reptilian Overlord
My kids used to make me read Scrambled Eggs Super over and over. I hated it.

Fox in Socks is my childhood favourite. I memorised the whole book. I can still recite great swathes of it mumblehumph years later.

"Oh The Places You Will Go" is my favourite. It's a journey through life, I like the meaning behind it.

That was the last book he wrote before he died - it's taken to be his parting message to the world. Gives me tingles every time I read it!

Does this effectively hide my thunder?

DS loves "the pale green pants with nobody inside them" and Too Many Daves.

My favourite was Yertle the Turtle.

These are favourites in our house. Particularly PANTS PANTS

I liked a Fish out of water, which is under the Dr Seuss banner, but not written by him/her/The Dr.

There are some good apps as well!

"Horton hatches the egg" is one of my childhood favourites. The kids like it too as well as the "Sneetches". Not much into "Cat in the Hat" either. He's a bit too annoying.

I have LOVED reading Dr Suess to mu Prep classes - these kids are now 18 and still tell me they remember the books.

I had Trouble in Getting to Solla Sollew (and all the stories in that book). I also liked the Star Bellied Sneeches - especially Sylvester McMonkey McBean!
