But the real question is, why do men like her? It's not her looks, she's pretty average.

A mystery indeed *rubs chin*

She's ok looking but far from a beauty. Sounds like her head is stuck a bit too far up her own bottom!

She thinks she's never been a bridesmaid because her friend's think she will show them up. Ah, no I suspect it is because they don't want to deal with her drama queen ways

She must have a shiny happy personality because, while she certainly isn't ugly, I don't think I'd look twice at her. Maybe she is more attractive in person - some people have amazing charisma that doesn't translate in photographs.

just reading this nonsense on facebook.

let me reiterate the logic

holy_j writes an article on how fantastically good looking she is. Then states people particularly women will reply in a negative manner because they are jealous but this only proves my point about how fricking awesomely good looking I am.

People then reply in a negative manner about the article and purported good looks.

This now proves me point as people reacted exactly as I predict they would.

I see a reasonably 'pretty' 45-50 year old woman, with the good fortune to have the means to look after herself. There are aot of people in the world that are pretty. She would not stand out in a crowd at all to me.

or Fembo maybe...
Well, she knows how to get attention, I'll give her that.

But either she was a lot better looking when she was younger, or she's completely delusional.

Well groomed perhaps, beautifull? Nah

Maybe people are actually reacting to her personality.

She's only 41 so obviously not looking after herself quite as much as she could!

Im sure men like women for many qualities other than just their appearance and Im sure men see somebody they love as attractive regardless of whether they meet society's physical ideals - in other words, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Author of article sounds like she is suffering from FIG JAM syndrome to me. rolleyes.gif

(My bold) LOL. The article said she'd just turned (or was turning, I didn't read that carefully) 41. She struck me as a bit older than that too though.

Is it horribly b**chy of me to think she should have a better physique than she does if she's going to all the effort of working out even when she doesn't feel like it, and avoiding naughty food?

She seems very confused. On the one hand she talks about how hard she works to look good, then in the next breath she talks about how she dresses down and looks forward to grey hair and wrinkles.

She sounds like she needs a glass of wine and a block of Cadburys.
