I didn't bother, I just used the hospital clothes. Why create more washing?

First baby I took in 0000 and 000, he was 2.44kgs and my mum went and bought a heap of 00000 for him which he was in for about 6 weeks.
Second I took 00000 and he was too long so DH bought in 0000 for him the next day. Twins I took 00000 and 0000. |

The hospital provided clothes while we were there so I just took 2 0000 outfits for wearing home.

We were told DS1 was going to have very long legs according to the scan, so I packed 000 and one 00 just in case! Turns out he was big and long all over - 4.75kg so he just fit the 000, was in the 00 by 2 weeks.
I only took 0000's for DS. The look on the midwife's face when she held it up and gave it a little strech before attempting to put it on him was priceless! He was 4.6kg. This time I've bought only 000's because if the next one's 'always' bigger... mmk, people love to tell you that if you have a big first baby don't they? Wasn't true in my case DS2 was a mere 4.1kg - still in 000's tho! |

I took 1 each of 000 and 0000... Turned out she was tiny and had to send my mum shopping for 00000, which were still too big, but got us through the first 6 weeks
