So, this morning I was in a huge rush - ironing my shirt on the bed.

I swear I just left the iron on the bedspread for maybe 2 seconds, and then I smell this awful burning smell, and dammit, I have burnt a hole that looks like spun sugar into his favourite golden coloured bedspread.

Please help me find another, similar one? I'm willing to pay a good price - I just want to fix my stuff up sad.gif

If you are after something quick and cheap perhaps this one?

I'm assuming you are after queen size.

If not, try googling for gold jaquard in the size you need. If it's anything like the one I used to have I can see why it was your husbands favourite, I used to LOVE mine. Unfortunately it was only double size and DH refused to get a smaller bed just so I could keep using my beloved bedspread. On the flip side we've just upgraded to a bigger bed and HIS favourite mink blanket is now too small for the new bed!

Thankyou, for letting me know the words I needed. The one there is actually sold out, but I know he'd be happy with that design. Now I know what I'm actually looking for original.gif

Maybe change the title to Show me your quit cover, Instead of bedspread. A bedspread, is something some hotels use (and you chuck in the corner,on arrival) or something your grandma may have used. Can't say I've even seen one in the shops.

Quilt covers, I like some of these.
