my 2nd was so different, waters broke and 5hrs later he was here. On his due date my 3rd was 6 weeks early and here within an hour from my waters breaking (first contraction was 10mins after waters breaking) |

My first labour was 8 hours, I got to the hospital at 6cm dilated and the baby was born 5 hrs later. He was 3 weeks early.
My second labour was 16 hours but I didnt realise I was in labour until 3 hrs before she was born. I had been getting braxton hicks all the way through the pregnancy so on D Day I thought it was just more braxton hicks. They were very irregular contractions. So I just monitored them and the only reason I went to the hospital was because I had a bleed so lucky that happened (waters didnt break) otherwise who knows what might have happened. She was 2 weeks early. Good luck. I had gut feelings that both mine would be early and they were |

DD - 12 hours.
DS - 2 hours. I did have my waters broken with DS so that would have sped things up a fair bit, I think I would have gone at least 6-8 hours without the ARM. |

DS1 - I'm actually not 100% sure lol I THINK around 11 hours though, starting from when I definitely knew I was in labour (not actually when contractions started) till epidural for emergency c-section. I was 38+2 weeks.
DS2 - 2hours 10mins, from first contraction till in my arms, born in 20mins. I made it to the birthing suite 5 mins before I had to start pushing. I had BH for 2 days prior. I was 39+2 I'm also wondering how long #3 will take. I think I'll go over my due date. My plan is to call the hospital & say I'm on my way as soon as labour starts. |

I found my 2nd labour to be worse. I think because I knew what was going to happen and I was frightened. |
