So I'm researching prams and capsules, as you do. Liking the BJCS but neither Baby jogger Australia nor Baby Jogger US can answer my question about Chicco capsules. Baby Jogger US have a Chicco capsule adaptor for the City select but Australia does not. BJ US list Chicco keyfit as fitting these adaptors but that's the Keyfit sold in the US. Noone can tell me if the Australian Chicco capsule will work with these adaptors.
Anyone experimented and tried? Thank you! |

futureself - I'm wondering the same thing as I saw the Chicco adaptor - we have the Keyfit capsule as well.
I was going to email BOTR and ask them more about this. I'm expecting #2 mid-year and getting stressed about all this as I wasn't going to get the City Select in the first place but will have to now Hopefully, someone can help!! Sorry, I can't help you...but would be nice to know for sure as we don't want to spend money on another capsule, bad enough we have to buy a new pram! |

Congratulations on the new baby and1makes309.
It's very frustrating that neither BJ US or BJ Australia can answer the question! Hope someone can come in and help us! |

As a side note, you currently cannot buy a Chicco Keyfit for love or money. They made some minor modifications and are waiting for it to be passed by Standards Australia (I think the new one is a bit narrower). I could be wrong but when I spoke to them last month they had no release date for the next one.

Thank you very much for this info, that may just change things. |

Thanks futureself....sent that email off to BOTR and see what they come back. Will keep you posted.
Gumbette - wow! that's interesting to know. We only have the Keyfit as a friend is lending us theirs which they no longer need. With #1 we just hired a capsule from Kids Safe WA and it did the job but never used the seat adaptor with our City Elite. I was thinking of going down the same track, leave the capsule in the car and carry baby in the capsule for shopping trips etc...and use the bassinet when I go for a walk or not even bother. It's just getting annoying that manufacturerers/businesses don't seems to know the answers to the questions that new (or any) Mums have when it comes to specific products and we have to rely on other Mums.... Thank goodness for these forums!! |
