Hi,
My husband and I are planning on getting the Baby jogger Citi Mini and were just wondering if anyone had any experiences of using the pram on grass? I know the wheels aren't designed for grass and there is a new GT version coming out, but we aren't sure we can afford paying the extra for it. Also, our baby will probably be here before the GT is available for sale in Australia. Thanks |

It cant be a little difficult to steer on grass but I've found if I just lock the front wheel so it doesn't swivel its fine. I've taken mine on all sorts of surfaces and just lock the wheel on rougher surfaces. hth

I have BJCM. I like the shade and the lightness so that's the reason i purchased it cause I am so tiny.
but I kinda disappointed cause it's not as outdoorsy as I liked. I found it's not as smooth trips on grass or gravel road. I guess it depends on how long is the grass. If it is short as golf course grass, i think it's fine. |

This was one of my concerns before buying the BJCM, but it handles much better on grass than my old heavy pram. Especially over shortish grass like you generally find in a park. As you said it's not designed to be an off-road pram, but despite that it's not bad.

Ditto what Happy-Daisy said above. If you're sticking mostly to paths with some short cuts across grass then it's fine. I was concerned about the lack if suspension but I find bouncing my baby over cracked paths, gum nuts, sticks and clackety wooden bridges doesn't bother bubs at all. In fact, she kinda likes it. I have her in a Valco cocoon inside the pram, so I think that extra padding helps.
