Thanks so much for all the replies .. I really appreciate it!

I'll definitely be checking out the baby jogger city select and bugaboo donkey.

the joovy caboose sounds worth a look too - I hadn't heard of that one before.

Will let you know how I get on

Thanks again:)

Another vote for the Baby Jogger City Select from me. I have my newborn in it now and love it. The reason I went with this pram is its flexibility for when #2 comes along.

I just got the iCandy Pear for exactly the same reason - and the same age gap! It can be both a single and a double, depending on what you want on a day to day basis. So far it's great - not that I've used it with two kids yet though. DD loves it and has been having a ball trying out the different seating arrangements and assigning different toys to play the role of 'Baby Brother'.

I have a BJ City Classic and I love it. I was looking at prams for 2 now and the issue with the BJ City Select is the height of the toddler. I tried my kid at 2,5 and he barely fitted (his head up to the canopy). He'll be a bit over 3 when his DB arrives, so beware of the BJCS if your toddler is big/older (otherwise I love the brand).

I'm considering the BJCM double GT and MB Duet..any insight on those? Thanks!

@phagua - not sure if you're aware but apparently, you can move the canopy up. That's what hubby picked up when we went to check out the Select...

we put DS into the seat and it was touching his head and hubby said that we weren't getting the pram then...but lady at the shop said you can adjust and from memory, you get about another 5-10cms (but don't quote me on that!)....

@and1makes309

Thanks for the info! but I don't keep my hopes too high as in their website http://www.babyjogger.com/PDFs/Comparison_chart.pdf

the max head height is only 21 inches, while in the classic/elite is 26 inches
