He's 9 months old, not 9 years. He will grow out of them, probably when he is no longer a baby, but for now he is so I wouldn't stress about it.

We put DD in the wrap me up with a sleep bag over it for a few sleeps so she began to associate the bag with sleep time, then just took the Wrap Me Up away. Took only a few days. She still sleeps with her hands in the position the Wrap Me Up would have put them in!
