Two cats is fine. We were discussing this at work the other week (after I ran out of the house in my pjs to yell at someone honking their horn outside my house at 6 am) and we decided that although I am currently safe as I have dogs rather than cats, it is more about the random yelling at strangers and being strange, than cat ownership per se and you need at least 3 cats, so you would be fine!

I married crazy cat man.
He had four cats and a dog when I met him. It was love at first sight - the cats, for me. They voted, and agreed I was to be their people mum, and it was all arranged. Not sure how they convinced him seeing they don't speak people, but hey, it all worked out fine. |

I had two cats when I met DH, I never thought about it making me a crazy cat lady, and I don't think anybody I ever met did either, maybe more than that would have raised eyebrows, after a year or so together I bought him a kitten too (as he kept "cuddling" my cats and they were old and grumpy), figuring that way it would be used to him so we had three.

If you want another cat then go for it! Who cares if it makes you a crazy cat lady, which it doesn't BTW.
I really, really want another cat! I would love to give another stray a good home (our ginger girl was a stray). I have cat ornaments... I couldn't be with someone who didn't love cats so just as well DH dose. lol I think I might be a bit crazy! |

You're not a crazy cat lady unless you owe 94 cats and abuse everyone on the street. (true story). Oh is that the criteria? Sweet, I'm cool. I don't abuse random people in the street. Actually, I don't have 94 cats either. I have...um, enough. 2 cats is not even close to crazy cat lady. Get your kitty a friend...go on! And then post us LOTS of cute kitteh pics so we can coo and gush. |
