Flower names like Jasmine, Lily etc, virtue names like Grace, Joy etc, jewel names like Ruby, Pearl etc and some other nature names like River, Fern, Summer, also month names like May or April, also colour names like Scarlett, Amber etc are not new - we could make huge lists of them (and indeed la di dah has laughing2.gif ) - I guess the trend of using random words like Kick or Peaches is not so common.


Animal names dont really appeal to me.


Cant actually think of any names which dont belong to above categories.

a) You know you love meeeeee.

b) I know a Peaches who's 60+. As her legal name, I know a few more Peach/Peaches that age bracket who are really Paulas/Patricias.

The only 'real' Peaches I have heard of is Bob Geldof's daughter.

Of course there is also Apple, another celebrity baby original.gif

Oh yes, I do like them. Gem & botanical especially.

I pitched Psalm as a middle name for a girl - DH was not receptive :'(

I still like Basil for a boy - might have DH on board with the E.E. version , Vasilli.
