Hi all,

I've been lurking the last week or so but since I've made it to 8 weeks today, thought I might as well jump in!

I've already got 3 much older kids - DD is 21 this year, and DS1 18, DS2 16 ohmy.gif !

Got divorced and really thought the whole baby thing was behind me until I met my partner who is younger and very much wanting babies. I always wanted more so, even though I did a mental snort and thought "Yeah, fat chance!", we gave it a bash. Had two miscarriages in quick succession early 2011 so took 6 months to get healthy mentally and physically and try again.

And just when I thought it wasn't going to happen without IVF ... two pink lines. Yay! Well, yay until about 6 weeks and then it was just sick.gif up until today (the bean must feel sorry for me!) Date scan on Friday and don't think I'll really believe it's happening until I get a HB and visual that all is well. Apart from feeling yucko and tired, I feel very, very lucky!
