Just wondering if you need to be induced if you end up in the normal wards? Reasons for induced is SPD or for being overdue.

my waters broke at midnight but no contractions. I was told to come in within the hour and went to the FBC and stayed there.
I was induced in the morning and didnt move from the birthing room until my baby was born and then into my room. All on the maternity floor. Hope that answers your question. |

My understanding is that they'll break your waters to start an induction, but wouldn't do syntocinon. And if you get to 42 weeks, you are shipped out.

Hi I was induced at 38 weeks (social induction) my dr organised it and i hope he does again as it was such an awesome perfect birth
