Hi everyone and congratulations!!!

I got my BFP about a week ago - due around December 4th I think but I haven't been to the doc yet.

It's number two for us. DS turns two at the end of April. A bit of a surprise as it was our first month trying and it took a few months the first time around.

Super excited though and having a lot of trouble keeping my mouth zipped (although only DH and my best friend know so far)!

Very strong nausea and sore boobs which are huge already.

I'm obsessed with POAS as well - I've done 6 so far which I think shows excellent restraint laughing2.gif

looking forward to getting to know everyone xx

Yay, welcome newbies, 1st time baby mummas and everyone else!

How exciting that we get to share this journey together!

JuniorGandR, aurora sleeping, andrea79- Hi again! It really was a successful month for us TTC#2'ers!

aurora sleeping- My bets are on twins for you- something was always a bit fishy given your early and extremely strong BFP. Or maybe you will just be having a sumo wrestler baby and he/she is expanding at a repid pace already ohmy.gif

MumLucky3- I think at this moment if I were to be surrounded by the smell of hot chips I would be in heaven! Sounds like you had a pretty rough time last time, fingers crossed it improves this time. I had HG from about week 6-14 last time and have everything crossed that it doesnt happen again!

JustDance- Elias is beautiful- what amazing eyes! Do you have family in Holland? I am a dutchie (grandparents were born there) so have about 1 million family members floating around there somewhere. I love what you mean about symmetry. Our DD was born 5/5/11.

MahnaMahna- Has your bleeding stopped? Fingers crossed it was a (very) late implantation bleed or just your body getting rid of something it doesnt need.

lady chattalot- Love your user name! I wouldnt mind large norgs- mine didnt seem to change much last time around but fingers crossed!

AFM- I am so unbelievably, ridiculously HUNGRY! ALL the time! Thats pretty much how I started off last time though. I always get cravings for hot food. When preggers with DD I even drank cordial made with hot water- that was probably my strangest craving. I have a heavy feeling in my ute and in the evenings/overnight I am up to pee more often but apart from that I am feeling okay.

Blood test today and results on Monday. We are touring our local family birthing centre on saturday (they are already booked up to early Nov, so we would have to get in quick smart).

We have already told parents and siblings. Cause of the m/c last month, I am of the personal opinion that it is better to celebrate than only to comiserate. Oh yeah, I also cant keep secrets like this to save myself!

Is there anyone interested in starting a list for us of who is preggers, age (of yourself and partner), age of any kids and what you think the sex is?

bbabyflip.gif Love this one too!

ciao!

Hi All.

Congrats to the ladies who have joined us in the last day or so! Such an exciting 9 months ahead. And of course, a big hi to gisses, andrea, aurora sleeping - so nice to see so many fellow TTC#2s in here.

gisses I am a bit haphazard with logging on, but happy to try and maintain a list. IF you could all post your details I'll try and add them in - then I'll try and get to the front of each new thread - or if the "GOLD" winner can post the list as is and I'll post an update? Do you think that will work.

Hi Ladies! waves.gif

Wow! So many due in December already! I got my BFP this morning (albeit VERY VERY faint) and I think I'm due the 10th of Dec. I had 2 early losses last year (both at 4.5 weeks) so am praying like crazy that this one is a sticky and I get to meet my beautiful, healthy baby in about 8 months time.

Symptoms so far are massive, sore boobs, frequent peeing and constant hunger. Oh and my skin is already pretty horrendous as well. I am booked in to see my OB at 7 weeks for an early scan and will be seeing a specialist through the early pregnancy assessment clinic at the hospital on Monday. After sufferring 2 pregnancy losses, I'm determined not to let that happen again! I am also seeing a naturopath and having acupuncture (this baby started costing me a fortune before it was even conceived!)

Anyway, looking forward to getting to know you all better and sharing this incredible journey with you. I've noticed that a few of you have had prior losses as well, so fingers crossed we all make it to term this time with beautiful, healthy babies!!

Hi everyone! Time for personals tonight so here goes (although only good enough to reply to the ones i can see!)

Andrea79 hi hi! crossing fingers for you and a good sticky!

justdance hello! whats SPD? Elias is such a nice name (and not used much!)

mahnamahna hi to you too! I hope your bleeding has passed and it was nothing.

digitaldorothy hey! were you trying to get pregnant? you get used to the acronyms very quickly.

ladychat 6 is great restraint! i did another one yesterday. i think ive spent about 100 in tests so far. i had internet cheapies but they werent working. i love those digital ones.

gisses i get my results monday too. had my test last week but havent had a chance to get to the doctors. i hope everything is great for us!

junior great job on the list! could you add to mine me 34 dh 28 please?

teenybopper crossing fingers for you too! im sure you will feel relieved as you get past the 5 week mark.

aurora hi hi!! no you didnt know i was pregnant. i became such a bad poster in the genderswayers i felt silly going in and announcing. but so nice to see you here - do you think you timed it right? i think i BD'd 3 or 4 days out so arguably perfect! here's hoping to girls, but of course really just some beautiful bubs whatever the sex! we will need a set of twins in here, so better you than me!!

AFM No real symptoms here still. more tired and extremely thirsty, but ive had a cold this week so not sure which symptoms are from what. got into our birth centre which is really exciting (although dont know what happens if im actually due nov, cause they are all booked out). not much else to report. DS has been sick and finally slept through again last night, so hopefully we are all on the mend. hope everyone is doing well - where is everyone from?

Hi all

I had been chatting away in the November group only to be told today at the scan that I'm due2nd of December!

trifecta that makes our babies due the same day!

So here I am.

How exciting is it! Fustrating at the same time because we can't tell people.

I managed to book my OB/GYN today and will book the hospital tomorrow, don't want to miss out and have to go somewhere else.

Welcome to all the newcomers and congratulations!

yipfazel - welcome to the Dec group! My initial due date is Nov 30 but I know that's not right so I'm staying here biggrin.gif

Maxandme - SPD is the old name, I think it's called Pelvic Instability now. Your pelvic becomes loose or out of place because of the hormones preparing for the birth and it can be very painful. I could barely walk at the end of my last pregnancy and it took months to go away, only to return a few months ago. And thank you for the compliment on my son's name - exactly why we liked it biggrin.gif

gisses - Thanks, that photo is a bit old now. I think his eyes are a little more gray. No, we have no family here, most of my family (except for parents and sister) are in the UK. DH's family are all in Oz. Probably the biggest reason we will be moving back. Do your parents speak Dutch?

Symptoms - have started... Eek. Lots of mild cramping today and yesterday, scary but I remember it from last time. Also the feeling of being hot a lot of the time and gagging when brushing my teeth, both of which I also remember from last time but not this early!!!

Took my son to the clinic today for his vaccinations and decided while I was there to pop across the lane to the midwife center and see if I could register (LOVE this place, they call it Birth Street - if you are curious, go to http://www.geboortecentrum.nl/index.php/en...tetric-practice and have a click around the site). Felt really funny being back there. All was good and my first appointment is 4 weeks tomorrow and I'll probably get a scan shortly after - going by LMP she put my due date at 30/11, which is way too early as I know the day we conceived, but they'll adjust at the scan. Until then that is the sum total of my contact with any maternity or medical care related to this pregnancy. Love the Dutch system!
