Nope. We pay only for the 10 weeks in the term. And we don't pay public holidays either if they fall on you child's day - so for example my son goes Thursday and Friday so we don't have to pay for next Friday (good Friday) as he won't be going.

No, my kids have all gone to the local community preschool and they don't charge for holidays.

Nope, our preschool only runs during normal public school term, so we pay per term. The invoice arrives 2-3 weeks into the term.

Depends if your preschool is approved care.
THe preschool we have used is officially approved care (childcare). But it runs a strictly preschool program, no little ones. They are open a bit longer (8-4), and open 48 weeks of the year. So yes, you do pay for school holidays. You also get CCB and the rebate if you qualify. The other local preschool is a community preschool. 9-3, school terms only. No CCB or rebates. |
