as per title, what work can i do from home to earn $1500/month?

i was thinking data entry, typing etc. it would be best after hours as i could work while the kids are in bed.

I think those sort of jobs are always found through friends and acquaintances an by making contacts in your local community.

Can you touch type? I learnt at tafe which is a great place to upskill if you need to.

If you can type, I would suggest working out a small business plan.

What are you going to charge per hour?
Can you print at home?
Can you type from dictation and do you have the necessary equipment to do this?
Can you collect the work and drop it off (you may have to collect it but you may be able to email it back again).
What turn around times can you offer?
Do you have any weekday times where you are on your own and can go out looking for contacts, or doing work in an office?

Then write a page introducing yourself and your services and approach some small businesses. Contact your local ones, and see what you can do by word of mouth, particularly with contacts who have small businesses themselves. Things like doctors, physios, real estate offices, builders who do building inspections, etc.

Don't forget to consider any tax, insurance and super implications (I know nothing about these).

$1500 divided by 20 days per month is $75 per day so if you were able to work 3 hours a day and clear $25 an hour after your costs then this would meet your requirements.

Great idea! You could easily advertise typing services, data entry, presentation work, formatting anything Admin related really.

I started my own handmade baby/childrens accessories business and I earn between $1500-$3000 a month. I have been doing it for 7 months now and it has become so popular I cannot keep up with the demand now. I sell online, through stocklists and markets. Everything is designed by me and I make things which are different to what others are making out there.

Are you able to sew? I know there is a huge demand for handmade boy items and clothing.

I love sewing but haven't done it for a while. I sewed my kids christening outfits and flowergirls dresses. I generally followed a pattern.

Redflutterby there is a huge market now for handmade baby/childrens clothing. I know because i have been busy shopping for bub today. From what i can see most sew by pattern in custom made orders. So from a pattern ( or from a picture from someone elses order ) I would order 1 in the size i want. I then pay via paypal and it gets delivered. I am going to add some of my favourite facebook sites to let you see how others are doing it.
