I've previously miscarried twice at 5 or 6 weeks. As traumatic as that was I think it might be worse this time emotionally because I've seen a heartbeat.

I noticed some blood a several hours ago, after (TMI) straining on the loo. Constipation is a constant issue in pregnancy for me, and yes I'm sure it wasn't an anal fissure. The little pink smears of blood went on for a few hours. It's not got any worse as I've been lying down attempting to sleep. But I've got lower back pain on and off.

What am I in for physically? Should I try to catch anything to take it to the obs? I've left a message for him but chances are he's delivering a baby.

I want to miscarry at home, I don't want the stress of hospital.

Edit: It's 2am and the bleeding has stopped and the pain is easing but i took panadol because i was miserable and had to do something. Also feel like I'm getting a flu. I'm here trying to restrain myself from calling obs because I know if it is a miscarriage there is nothing that can be done. Though I'd really like him to call back, say that he's awake anyway after delivering a baby and I can pop round to his rooms for a scan now. Still getting the lower back pain and some nausea (the stress?).
