Just a quick brag post-we got a big house biggrin.gif

We living in a small mining town, housing is provided by DH's employer. We finally got them to agree, and managed to find a SEVEN BEDROOM HOUSE!

It's an older highset house, built in underneath. Upstairs is 4 bedrooms. The 4 "big kids" are up there, kitchen, lounge (our toy room!), dining & bathroom. Downstaris is 2 bedrooms (for the 2 babies) and we built in the garage for the main bedroom. We have a small lounge room and bathroom (just for me!).

I can put the babies down to bed early, spend time in the kitchen &/or dining with the older kids without disturbing the babies. Then I put the big kids to bed & head downstairs with DH to watch tv, not disturbing the older kids.

We lived in a small, 3bedroom house until after the 5th baby was born. Then we moved into a large 4 bedroom house, but as the kids got older we just didn't fit so good. I am absolutely LOVING this house!!

Congratulations!

As someone who has currently been searching for a decent bigger place to live for about 8months, I am extremely jealous!

Unfortunately the only ones available seem to sacrifice the size of the yard for the bigger house or vice versa.

I quite often sit on the lounge room and just allow myself to be absorbed into the space. Being able to walk around the dining table - a whole new experience lol

Congrats & enjoy!!!!!

Yah!

We're in the process of househunting, it's very stressful. We have to move out on the Tues after easter and have yet to find anywhere to go. Two auctions on Sat though (and can stay at grandpas temporarily if needed).

Last night I had a confusing dream about homing pigeons and trucks breaking down, but I can't remember all the details. DH dreamed of exorcising a ghost by spewing up spaghetti - is that stress talking?? original.gif

Our plan is to try and buy one of the two houses for sale on sat, and failing that, we'll rent for a while (and yes there is a rental that we can have). So it's not too dramatic, but the uncertainty is going to start to get stressful as we get closer to our move out date!

Yah again for you though...
