DD2 is 5 months and has 3 day sleeps. She has happily self-settled for the past month but this has become hard in the past few days. I'm not sure if she's tired enough when I put her down and am thinking I might stretch her awake periods out a bit longer to see if it helps - she's currently awake for around 2 hours before I put her to bed. Her sleeps last anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour and a half. How long do other 5 month old babies stay awake for between day sleeps?

I think DS was probably mustering 2 hours at a push before showing pretty solid tired signs. He'd often only make 1 hour for his first wake up and lengthen as the day went on.

Hi
DS is 6 months now, but still fairly similar to the last few months. Up for two hours, "sleep" two hours, up two hours, "sleep" two hours, up 1.5 hours, sleep 45 mins. The two hour "sleeps" aren't necessarily actually asleep, but trying to have restful time. |
