We've had 2 unsuccessful cycles of IVF. And now we've been trying almost naturally (I'm on clomid for ovulation) for 10 months... We track ovulation using the P.D tracking app, our doctors clinical notes... We might just have to try clearblue!

Where do i start.. We started to try for a family in 1999, after having a miscarried and being told by the doctor that its a common thing for women to have miscarriages. Little did we know it would take us 7 years to have a beautiful boy, through pure miracle.
I tried ovulation kits bought from woolies, we tried using egg white (yes, from chook egg) to help with my vagina juices (sounds pretty gross, but when desperate try anything) i had massive amounts of pillows under my butt to keep it all in there after wild monkey dance, i went on cold medicines to try and help increase the vagina juices, went off coffee onto herbal drinks.. We tried all known alternative therapies - herbs, naturopath, reflexology, accupuncture, i saw a chinese herbalist, we tried iui, followed by isci x 3 times. First time no fertilized eggs, last two times lucky to have one fertilized egg which never took. We had generic testing to find out there is no apparent reason why i cannot concieve, so decided to try the donor egg path. We asked our pastor to annoint us. We advertised in sydney child for donor egg and had 7 ppl reply our message, only to find out that i was already pregnant on my own egg.
Thus we have a beautiful boy through a pure miracle. He turned 5 years in January. We started to try again, knowing the long path of ttc asap, and have had 2 known miscarriages since..
Im ready for white flag, and to give up.. but each month goes by and my periods arrives and i read something new on the net, and have that little glimmer of hope that maybe this month might be the month for conceiving another beautiful miracle.. We currently using clearblue stix, and trying the moon ovulation cycles - never know what could happen and this is making hubby happy! (lots of wild monkey dances)

So for all those who are ttc baby no.1 dont give up.. It tooks us 7 years and if it can happen to us - it can happen for you too..
Good luck..

Started trying again a few months ago, and we use my hormones to tell me when it's the best time to conceive. When I'm hormonally hot (like a menopausal old woman), I know I'm ready so it's on!!! Worked last time, should work this time too (we hope!).
