Enjoy soft-boiled eggs and soldiers for lunch as well as experimenting with egg blowing and painting, decorating some hard boiled eggs

Organize an Easter Bunny Hunt in the form of a treasure hunt. Write clues to send the kids really hunting around the garden and in and out of the house. Make each clue lead to a really lovely bit of treasure – a few little Easter Eggs, a little box of Lego, a book, some new winter gloves perhaps. I also include a complete Easter themed craft pack – something that we can all sit down and make together later on. Move away from the idea that an Easter Bunny hunt has to be all chocolate and branch out a little!

I love the blue bunny wink.gif

The kids love to decorate
So we have a little branch in a vase
To hang some coloured easter eggs on
And admire from afar

Ofcourse the Easter egg hunt
Is the most anticipated event
A map with pictures and numbers helps
Find all the eggs so we don't forget!

Another thing we love to do
Is bake marshmallow bunnies
We love doing Easter things together
And spending time with my honeys

Pink bunny please

On Easter Saturday morning boil up a huge batch of hard boiled eggs, let them cool and then spend the afternoon as a family painting and decorating them as beautiful as possible. Then on Easter Sunday, one by one you smash them head to head to see who is the ultimate winner (remembering that the losing egg must be eaten by the one who smashed it!).

My background is European and this to us is Easter, in a shortened version!

I recommend baking as a great family activity, we always have a batch of hot cross buns in the oven at easter time. We print out some easter pictures for colouring, which we then use to decorate and of course the easter egg hunt is great fun!
