DH and i were having a conversation about our cafe press after dinner tonight.

i have had the cafe press for just under 12 months, but have only ever used it to make toasted sandwiches once.

i do however use it almost EVERY night. i cook EVERYTHING in it!

from sausgages, steaks, kebabs, chops, pancakes, kiev's, snitzels and any other meat you could think of.

DH thinks its wierd. but i find the press cooks everything so much faster and more evenly!!!

do you have a kitchen applience that you tend to favour? even if you dont use it for its intended purpose???

I'm intrigued by this idea of cooking chicken breast etc in the sandwich press. Do you end up with chicken juices running all over the bench?

i never have so far... touch wood...

i have sat the cafe press on a tray before just incase, but its never ended up needing it...
