DS only started commando crawling at 9 months and hands and knees crawling around 10 months. I think your DD is well within the normal range. I can't really understand why it's driving you batty though

DD1 crawled at 9 months, DD2 13 months and DD3 12 months.
6 months is very early for crawling. None of mine were even sitting up independently then! Your DD is doing what's normal for her age . Most babies are not proper crawling at 8 months. Don't know why it's driving you nuts though.. you can't make them crawl, they will do it when they are ready. |

Both of my kids rolled really early, then commando crawled from spot on 6 months. My DD didn't crawl properly until ten months and then walked at 15 months. My DS is currently 10 months and isn't crawling properly yet, although he seems close. I definitely wouldn't be worrying too much, my kids have been fine.

It's normal. Plenty of bubs don't proper crawl till closer to one.
My DS started commando crawling at 8.5 months and proper crawling at 10.5 months. |

I was coming in to say DD didn't proper crawl until 10 months and DS until 11 months, but I see many PPs have already made the point!
