Maybe she is not ready to crawl yet.
DD didnt crawl until 10 months and DS started at 8 months. All kids are different - 6 months is really young to crawl. |

My DD didnt properly craw till 11 months....enjoy the fact you dont need to chase her.
Every child is different, she will do it in her own time! |

All my kids didn't 4pt crawl until 11.5m.
DS1 and DS2 were CC from 6-7m. DD didn't do that stage, she just sat until 11.5m and 4pt crawled. Perfectly normal Oh yeah, some kids don't 4pt crawl either. 6m is on the early side to 4pt crawl too http://www.who.int/childgrowth/standards/m...ndows_graph.pdf |

They are all so different.
DD1 was almost 11 months when she finally crawled. She hardly even rolled until 9 months! DD2 was crawling at 9 months. Both girls walked at 13 months. |

DS didn't 'normal' crawl until long after he started walking.

My DD2 started commando crawling at 8 mths & was still doing it at 12 mths (no four points EVER) so at her 12 mth check at the baby clinic they suggested assessment by a physio. Due to feeding issues as well, she was diagnosed with mild hypotonia (low muscle tone). But even after lots of physio sessions, she still didn't 4 point crawl until a month before she started walking at 18 mths.
OP I would give it some more time & then see whether some physio might be beneficial. |

Neither of my boys have 'normal' crawled at all. Both bottom shuffled - DS1 in one style from 8 months, DS2 in a different style from 7 months.
She can get around and is happy so I would say she is fine. |

DS didn't crawl until after 10 months - he just rolled everywhere. He was walking by 13 months. My nephew crawled much earlier at 8 months but is still not walking at 14 months. They're all different. I wouldn't worry at all.
