I have a cousin Eloise, it's a nice name, but I prefer the french spelling, Heloise. Eloise is probably more intuitive spelling which will make life easier for her in the long run.
I can't remember my cousins middle name, so am not much help there!! But something more crunchy sounding would be my pick, like Stephanie. |

Hate it.
I don't like the non-intuitive spelling and I don't like the pronunciation either. I know how it's meant to be said but still revert to ee-loyce when I see it and can't get past that. Prefer Elise, Elisa, Luisa, Louisa, Louise... |
