I got stretchmarks with my first. I also hoped I wouldn't get anymore with my second. But alas, it was not to be. I developed more stretchmarks with each subsequent pregnancy.

I am in your shoes too Louisa, we can hope but it's probably inevitable.

I'm doing everything! Massaging Vit E oil twice daily, Bio Oil, Natural Seaseme Oil, exercising at least 45 mins a day. I never paid much attention to my skin the first pregnancy until I actually got them... Grrrrr I hate them!!!

I know dudes don't care, my partner doesn't anyway... I still hate them, and no matter how much I try and get rid of the feeling I just can't. I hate the way I look in a bikini and I always have to wear long tops because I feel like I look so gross if my top rides up and you can see them... Ah well, nothing you can do!

I am pretty sure I didn't get any extra stretchmarks with my second pregnancy. I got enough first time round and maybe the collagen fairy had mercy on me.

None of that is going to help, it's your skin type that does it which no amount of creams or oils will change. It's part and pacel of having kids. If you want to keep a perfect tummy, don't get pregnant! I had none until about 30 weeks and then got covered with them. I 'survived' by just ignoring them. |
