My husband and I are soul mates who found each other in our early 40s, half-way around the world. I am American from California and my husband is Australian from Brisbane. We met on a cruise to South America (the Love Boat!), he was with a neighbor and I was with my mom. The cruise was almost over, but I gave him my email address and we quickly became friends through email, telephone calls and Skype and visited each other often in each other's country. We got married on New Year's Eve over a year ago and I am now living permanently in Brisbane (I have a residency visa and intend to apply for citizenship). Neither of us were previously married, thus never had the opportunity to have children before (we don't have any children). Now that we're happily married, we yearn to be loving parents. We tried to start a family through IUI and IVF, but were unsuccessful. Adoption is not available to us due to waiting periods. We know from personal experience that life works in mysterious ways, so we are taking a leap of faith and seeking an egg donor. We are a young-looking couple who are healthy and relatively fit without being gym rats. We hope that we will be able to connect with someone who feels moved to donate their eggs to us. Having been through IVF myself, I know what all is entailed and realize what an incredible gift it would be for someone to do this for us. Definitely a gift from the heart. It's almost hard to fathom. If what I have written rings true with you, we'd love to explore where that might lead. Please PM me if you can help.

The idea is to be as active as possible on sites like this one and i think you are on another Egg Donation site as well. By doing so you are showcasing your personality to potenial donors who sit back and read all the posts from anyone looking for a donor. This is how a donor connects with you so thats why its so important to chat to others, join in conversations, support others who may have a failed cycle etc. You will find that these aspects are the ones adopted by the couples who end up finding thier donors.

If you want something in life, yell long, hard and loud till someone hears your and offers to help.l
