DS's funding is about to run out and I have the full amount left for his resources.

With last year's funding we bought him a referbished original 16 gig wifi ipad. I am hoping to use the funding to upgrade his ipad to a new ipad or ipad2, wifi and 4Gm, with 32gig. My main concern is that the funding we be rejected.

His provider has told me that the list is fine and to hand in the receipts when I buy the items. I called Autism QLD who told me to get the approval in writing before buying.

I am just wondering if anyone had ended up buying two ipads (at different times) with their funding and was apporoved. It is just we are borrowing the money off of a friend to buy the resources and can't afford to buy it and then for the item to be rejected. (IYKWIM).

Can you buy the ipad from a shop that would allow you to return it unopened if you don't get approval from AQ to reimburse the cost? Worth a try.

Yes we have bought two with the funding. Our provider said they don't really question the second one because quite often it's because the first one was smashed.
