Dh and I were sold on Maximus William. Loved loved loved it. Then Getting/staying pregnant took longer then expected and the exact name combo was recently used by my cousin (total coincidence).

We were very attached to that name, and even I would only see this child yearly I still can't bring myself to use the exact name.

So we will still use William as the middle name (family name) and I need a new first name. I don't like the Adam, John, Paul names since the middle name will be so plain already.

Our surname is one sylabel and starts with P so kind of sounds like 'peek'

Ideas???

Firstly, eee, OMG Spring Chickadee congrats I missed that you were "in the family way" as grandma used to say!

Anywho:

Are all the Max- names off the table, Maxwell, etc.? I'm working off the assumption they are. Dang those relatives with good taste. Trying to pick semi-historic names with cute nicknames, which seems about what Maximus was.

Cassius William - NN Cash is cute
Raphael William - Rafe
Dashiell William - Dash
Gabriel William - Gabe. I like Gavriel too, but my DH assures me he'd end up "Gazza" which sounds odd to my ear.
Nathaniel William - Nate, Nat, etc.
Josiah William
Jedidiah - Jed
Zachary/Zacharias/Zachariah - Zach
Ezekiel - Zeke
Gavin
Gareth
Malachi - Kai?

I am not the best with names, but if this baby is a boy it will be Fabian Tomas. I think Fabian William works well.

Congrats and good luck choosing the name for your LO
