Just wondering what others do during playtime with their 4month old. DS only stays awake for 2hours at a time and I always try to do some playtime during that awake period unless we are out running errands. I'm starting to think that I need some new activities though because I just do the same things over and over and I don't want to bore him.
So I was just wondering what types of things you do during playtime. At the moment we just do tummy time, play with his toys and sing some nursery rhymes. |

- soon your baby will be able to sit-up in the pram so take him for lots of walks - my son loves looking at everything - he goes really quiet on a walk
- get a CD of nursery rhymes, it will expand your repertoire and in time, you can leave it on for him to enjoy without you - put a rug on the grass (at home or in a park) and let him look around - put half his toys away and swap them over each day so that he gets "new" toys every day! - read him books - it's never too early - look up story time at your local library - when playing tell him stories about anything, like how you met your partner, what you did as a kid etc |
