A rather insulting slogan, no matter how you look at it. I'll be honest and say that I first thought it was a comment on formula feeding parents, but that may have been because I was just reading about breastfeeding instead of big families. lol

I can see why people would think like think like this simply because there IS a very visible minority of parents having children they can't afford and spending the money on crap not related to their kids. It is a minority, but a visible minority and it gets a lot of people annoyed.

Well, I do think people need to realise that random thoughts you might have don't necessarily need to be printed onto a sticker and stuck on your car. And just because something rhymes, that doesn't make it a deep and insightful comment.

This.

Just another example of crass, rednecks that have no real understanding about life, the universe and everything. What does the sticker do other than attempt to create a stir and make some people feel bad just so they can snicker to themselves about how great they are? I bet you that anyone that puts stickers like that on their car has a few sandwiches short of the lunch box.

This.

That's how I read it also, specifically as the visible minority of 'welfare dependent bogans' if you will.

Annoyed enough to go to the trouble of putting a bumper sticker on their car?

Why would anyone be that upset about someone else choices.

Perhaps because they feel like they pay for it in a way?

Do people really have nothing better to do than over analyse bumper stickers?

I don't think this post is over analysing it, merely inviting discussion & views on the issue. I probably should have put *fluff* in the title or something to avoid confusion.
