Excellent family lawyer in Canberra?

I have had never ending problems with the father of my toddler who is now in prison and I am hoping too apply for sole custody. Anyone know a great family lawyer in Canberra?

No such this as sole custody. Sole parental responsibility can be given, depends on the judge. Are there issues of violence towards your child from the father. If not, it is hard to get a limited contact order, almost impossible to get a no contact order.

Yeah I probably worded it wrong SomeoneNew.. I just want full parental responsibility with his access to our son being supervised like through Marymead or something. I think I would have a chance of getting this.

I guess my only advice would be sort legal aid now and read over recent judgements. Having a realistic idea on what you want should make things go quicker. Have no recommendations on lawyers My experience was as soon as the legal aid ran out they had no interest. Even after they had filed paperwork incorrectly. Good luck.
