DS turns one in a couple of weeks and last night I had a light bulb moment to decorate his cake with ITNG theme.
I'm no expert in cake decorating, so I thought keep it simple. Does anyone know where I can get the mini figurines from? Also, how will I 'stick' it on the cake? Will the butter cream topping will do the trick? Thanks in advance. |

I did exactly that for DD1's 2nd birthday. I bought the figures from Toys R Us, I think they were $30, but both my girls have loved playing with them.
I made a square orange cake, iced it with pale green buttercream for grass, then sprinkled green 100s & 1000s over for grass. Add a couple of those flowers that are made out of icing sugar, and dot the characters in between them. Beware though - the colour in the icing made DD poo a funny colour! |

Hi there!
Not sure where you are but I have just seen them at the ABC shop in Warringah Mall, Sydney. If you are nowhere near and get desperate, let me know and I can purchase and post them to you |
