Just celebrated DD's 3rd birthday - one of the gifts was "moon-dough" - it is a powdery version of standard dough and doesn't need moisture or refrigeration apparantley. It has a moulding kit that goes with it.
It is so powdery it is really hard to keep clumped together and the powder falls all over the place - I am just wondering if any of you are aware of moon dough - maybe we just have a bad batch..... unsure.gif

I'm not a bad mum, I'm a good mum with low expectations
Sounds like it might be a common issue, if you scan down to the bottom of this page there are parent reviews and many of them are not favourable sad.gif

We were given a free sample once - it made it into the bin pretty quickly. I assumed it was faulty but from the sound of it it's just not very good!

Ours is exactly the same! So gross and it ends up everywhere! Hence the reason it is hiding at the back of our cupboard now.

We have a ton of this stuff - its like fairy floss in feel.

Yes it is crumbly but my boys love it - ASD and super touchy children!

We jsut use it in a big white tray with edges. I love that it doesnt go hard when they leave it out and that we can reuse it over and over.

I loved it so much I bought them each a huge tub of Bubber which is similar but holds together a bit better and also some Delta sand which is similar but is mouldable sand that you can make sculptures from. original.gif

Good I am not alone - it is SO messy! Can see it secretly going into the bin shortly! Or Cat - I should post it to you - it would cost me nearly nothing - it is so light!

I love the stuff. Particularly because you can mold it without needing to have great strength. (DS has low tone).

We also use it in a tray outside. Yes it's messy, but so are all the fun things like glitter, glue, paint and mud. I feel sorry for the kids who don't get to make mess.

Yep it goes everywhere, my kids just clean up as much as possible and the rest goes up the vacuum.
