In what sense are you after?
For entertainment? For work purposes? I love Evernote and Dropbox. I also love The Age app, which is Melbourne based, but I believe the Sydney Morning Herald is essentially the same. I love using the DataMan Pro app to keep track of my 3G and WiFi usage. I LOVE Zinio for reading magazines, and Magshop isn't too bad either. The inbuilt Newsstand isn't that bad, but it's not that good. Worth a look though it's much harder to find your favourite magazines. Zite is another great news source, you can tell it what you want to read about and over time it learns what interests you most. The ABC iView app is brilliant. Lasoo is a great app to find all your favourite catalogues. If you want to stream media from a PC, you can use AirVideo or StreamToMe. If you want to access a PC via your iPad, you can use TeamViewer, or Splashtop or LogMeIn. If you want to print, but don't have an Airprint compatible printer, you can use a great app called FingerPrint to access your printer from your device. I like using the Kindle app to read books, especially since I found a link to free e-books released each day. I absolutely love my iPad, so I hope you get as much out of yours as I do mine. |

I'm into Draw Something. As for my kids, Tots World is their favorite now http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zVXZ0ZJKL_M

Awesome thread !
MyFitnessPal - keeping track of calories. Free. Great interface. Magshop - For reading magazines. So good. I now don't have a giant pile of magazines as they're all on my ipad. Play Books (google) - A lot of books aren't available on iBooks. This plays ones purchased from google. Domain - This is SUCH a great app. Depends on your situation..but I used it when we were looking for a place, when we were selling ours, and now use it to keep an eye on our neighbourhood. MoveTheBox - Highly addictive. You have been warned. MyPad - A single interface to manage facebook, twitter etc Pinterest+ - iPad size app for pinterest. (Pinterest only released an iPhone app). SMH - Or the Age if you're in melb. I have both! Foxtel Guide - if you have foxtel. I use it to see what's on and record for the next day. A lot easier than browsing the foxtel menu directly on the box. Sprout - I'm currently pregnant and this is awesome with info and 3D pics. |

Contre Jour and Machinarium - both expensive for apps ($5-6), but both absolutely gorgeous puzzle games. And Morris Lessmore (a multi award winning interactive book app based on the film which won the best animated short film Oscar this year) and Numberlys, a kids alphabet game
