Hi Mumma's
Reading this chat group makes me realize how very different each pregnancy is, everyone has different complaints and niggles! Mine are mainly lack of sleep, due to having midnight munchies after my midnight wee, and the searing pain in my back, which is from an old injury, and usually I take some pain killers and after a week it goes, bit hard to get rid of without the use of high grade pain killers! Other than that all is good. I hope those of you with MS are starting to get better, mine was pretty mild and cut off 11 weeks in! Rosettes - my bestie is a Canberra girl and she had the same dilemma, she ended up at Queenbeyan private hospital. It is brand new and since they are trying to get it off the ground they offer no-gaps obstetrics, with an obstetrician of your choice, if you have private health cover. It's an absolutely fantastic deal, my OB fee's are like $4500 out of pocket, she took her 4 grand and went on a luxury holiday for 2 weeks! I'd say it's worth checking out!I hope everyone is doing ok, we are all coming up for big scans in the next few weeks, so good luck with them! Wish me luck, I am off to my first prenatal yoga class today, pray that I don't fall over or fart loudly.... Both are realistic possibilities!

Hi All

I can start buying boys clothes because we had a 3d scan last night and they told me its definetly a boy! 3D scan was such an amazing experience got to listen to the heartbeat which was at 143 bpm. Partner and I were so excited and I was a bit surprised I just had a feeling it was a girl during the whole pregnancy. I am now 16 weeks and 3 days (due Sept 24th)

Had first midwife appointment today and everything went well got to listen to the heartbeat again and the midwife said I still look so little. I guess it will just all pop out at once. I bloat really easily.

Hope everyone else is well.

Rosettes...Welcome!! Hope the headaches ease, I got a lot in the early weeks :-(

jess1980...Good luck with that lotto win...want to share!! lol I hear you on the renos/room moving...we're in a similar boat, except of course I'm only pregnant with ONE baby. Hope the sickness eases soon for you.

Hi everyone

Just letting you know that as these two chat groups have slowed down I will combine them again ready for when you all 'graduate' to the Parents Group.

I will pop in and start a Due In September 2012 thread tomorrow night.

Regards to you all

Ali

Not sure where I'm supposed to be posting now but meh just do it here anyway.

Been looking forward to today. Everyone back at work/school and having a rest/bludge on the couch. I'm 17 weeks today and though I have previously felt some flutterings I don't know what has happened this morning but baby is going off! Has been for the last 20 minutes. I'm curled up on the couch so maybe why I can feel bub more?

Spent the last few days traveling back and forth from regional city about hour and half away. Traveling in 4wd over the bumpiest rural roads and had to hold lower tummy most of the journey as kept thinking of bub swinging/hanging onto the umbilical cord to hold on, (j/k). It was rough enough that I was actually wondering about if my body shaking would do something but then thinking people run and exercise while pregnant, must be alright, (I'm a slow walker at best exercising).

Definitely took it out of me though and even just wandering around town noticed I had to keep stopping to rest.

While in suburbia went and had a look at Pumpkin Patch and started going a bit clucky over all the newborn outfits...just desperate to find out sex now but probably wont know till 20 weeks scan. My Nan sent me two bags full of baby clothes on Friday so DD9 and I went clucky over that...till DD9 realised for the first time ever Great Nanny hadn't sent her anything...the look of realisation that she has to share!

Hope everyone is going along well...I forgot to add ms has mostly died down to a couple mornings a week...as long as I keep eating. I have a thing for steamed vegies right now especially broccoli much to everyone else's disgust!

hi all,

I am new to EB. This is my 2nd pregnancy however the 1st one ended at 17wks due to unsurvivable very rare condition. sad.gif

Glad to report that this one is all good! Have been hearing the heart beats and sitting around 156 - 158 mark. Get to see bub every 3 -4 wks due to previous history so really loving get to watch bub grow! How they develop so quickly - it completely amazes me!

Getting a nice round belly now, which is good. Glad to get over that "constantly bloated" look...

My two dates are 18th - 21st september due, so around 17 - 18wk mark. Finally over my morning sickness. Suffered terribly, but nothing since good friday so fingers crossed!

Have my morphology scan on 3rd May. So excited to see bub again in a few short weeks. I want a surprise but hubby really wants to find out. Probably will end up finding out. I have said from the start that I think its a boy - not sure why. Will wait and see i guess.

Best of luck to everyone with their pregnancies.

Bec
