Hi Mumma's Reading this chat group makes me realize how very different each pregnancy is, everyone has different complaints and niggles! Mine are mainly lack of sleep, due to having midnight munchies after my midnight wee, and the searing pain in my back, which is from an old injury, and usually I take some pain killers and after a week it goes, bit hard to get rid of without the use of high grade pain killers! Other than that all is good. I hope those of you with MS are starting to get better, mine was pretty mild and cut off 11 weeks in! Rosettes - my bestie is a Canberra girl and she had the same dilemma, she ended up at Queenbeyan private hospital. It is brand new and since they are trying to get it off the ground they offer no-gaps obstetrics, with an obstetrician of your choice, if you have private health cover. It's an absolutely fantastic deal, my OB fee's are like $4500 out of pocket, she took her 4 grand and went on a luxury holiday for 2 weeks! I'd say it's worth checking out!I hope everyone is doing ok, we are all coming up for big scans in the next few weeks, so good luck with them! Wish me luck, I am off to my first prenatal yoga class today, pray that I don't fall over or fart loudly.... Both are realistic possibilities!

Hi All
I can start buying boys clothes because we had a 3d scan last night and they told me its definetly a boy! 3D scan was such an amazing experience got to listen to the heartbeat which was at 143 bpm. Partner and I were so excited and I was a bit surprised I just had a feeling it was a girl during the whole pregnancy. I am now 16 weeks and 3 days (due Sept 24th)
Had first midwife appointment today and everything went well got to listen to the heartbeat again and the midwife said I still look so little. I guess it will just all pop out at once. I bloat really easily.
Hope everyone else is well.

Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum. I'm 19 weeks and 4 days. Due 3rd September. I'm the first of my family and friends to have a baby and be pregnant, so i'm very excited and nervous. It's great to know what i'm feeling is normal through reading your posts. I have no idea what all the abbreviations mean ie. EB, DT?? But I'm slowly learning.

hi all, I am new to EB. This is my 2nd pregnancy however the 1st one ended at 17wks due to unsurvivable very rare condition. Glad to report that this one is all good! Have been hearing the heart beats and sitting around 156 - 158 mark. Get to see bub every 3 -4 wks due to previous history so really loving get to watch bub grow! How they develop so quickly - it completely amazes me! Getting a nice round belly now, which is good. Glad to get over that "constantly bloated" look... My two dates are 18th - 21st september due, so around 17 - 18wk mark. Finally over my morning sickness. Suffered terribly, but nothing since good friday so fingers crossed! Have my morphology scan on 3rd May. So excited to see bub again in a few short weeks. I want a surprise but hubby really wants to find out. Probably will end up finding out. I have said from the start that I think its a boy - not sure why. Will wait and see i guess. Best of luck to everyone with their pregnancies. Bec
