Ali - so close!!! I'm glad you're feeling better though. We are all on tenterhooks here waiting for your little girl. I'm off to stalk 3cubs now!! biggrin.gif

Wow, there's been so much action in here lately I think I may try for personals later biggrin.gif DS appears to be having a daytime sleep, hooray!! Maybe he will adjust to the big bed after all. I've been so much more tired these last few days, possibly because he hasn't been resting, but also because I'm getting to the pointy end of pg now biggrin.gif I've also been a bit sinusy as well.

Quinston - I just wanted to say it's lovely to hear from you, it sounds like its been very full on these last few weeks, but its great that you have come through it. Quinlan sounds like a wonderful big brother wub.gif Its so lovely that you can tandem feed as well! The pictures of the two of them are lovely as well original.gif

A cute story from my little boy - DH took him out yesterday while I was staying at home to read DH's essay (DH has a 'research week' from college to get study done, which means he has been home a lot more - yay!) DS comes over and takes my hand and says 'Mummy come' and looks at me very earnestly, and was very sad when I told him I was going to stay home. Awww!!! As much as he drives me mad sometimes, he is just adorable!

Hi all,

Not much time to post as Max is getting a bit stir crazy with the rainy day we're having today.

I'm still here - thought things might be beginning to happen yesterday, feeling a bit crampy. In the end just didn't sleep too well, but nothing today. Although the BH are getting stronger and more noticeable. Had a chiro appt yesterday and he thought it would be in the next couple of days. I hope so!

Sorry no personals, but enjoying reading.

Still ph34r.gif Ali of course.

Can someone pm me their mobile number so I can text when something happens?

Please to announce the safe arrival of Ali's baby
Violet Elizabeth

This morning at 8:14am I received teh following annoucement via text:

"Alice, Ben and big sister Lucy are thrilled to announce the safe arrival of Violet Elizabeth, born at 10:39pm, 16th of March, 4290g (7pd11oz). All feeling well and very happy!"

Well done Ali.

Apologies for the delay in typing this. Ive done it as soon as possible. Unfortunately at 6pm last night my son fell and hit his head and ended up with Concussion. It was very scary. We are not long back from hospital. For 6 to 7 hours he could not see me or hear me despite me being right there and calling for me. He ended up having a CT scan which was very scary as they come with risks of their own. However, the doctors in emergency were very worried about his symptoms. He keep falling to sleep waking half hourly and vomiting for 7 or so hours until they gave him an anti nauseum. We have just been discharged and am now home and have to keep an eye on him hands.gif he is okay and will be okay now and no future ramifications from the CT scan. Dont want to dampen Ali's good news but feel I have to explain my inability to post until now.

Once again a big congratulations Ali. Im sure you are enjoying those new born cuddles wub.gif in between trying to rest where possible. Hope the labour wasnt too hard on you and it went quickly and smoothly.
Look forward to you checking in on us and letting us know how its all going.

Michiemoo: Oh you are right there.. thats definately a typo with the weight.. Thats what happens when one doesnt get much sleep. Good spotting. Yes that would be one whopping baby at 4 something kgs. Will reconfirm weight now

Sorry girls and Ali.. Completely stuffed up baby's weight in kg's. Violet weighed in at 3490kgs. I did get the weight in pounds right.
Got a text from Ali saying she hopes to update soon! biggrin.gif

Yay Ali!!! wub.gif Congratulations on the arrival of Violet Elizabeth. I can't wait to hear more about it! I bet she is gorgeous - and Lucy is a perfect big sister biggrin.gif So very excited for you!!

3cubs - I hope your DS is ok bbighug.gif How are things going now? Gosh I would have been so scared.
I have to say, I did wonder when I saw the weight of Ali's baby as well! I have no idea about the conversion between pounds and kgs, but I just remember Ali having lots of scans because of growth concerns and I thought that it was amazing that she had a 4kg baby after that!! But I can understand that was far from the most important thing you were thinking about.

flyingkiwi - You're up!! biggrin.gif We're not planning to give our girl the middle name Elizabeth either - although there will be some 'Beth' in there biggrin.gif
