Oh yeah Dot bloke didn't get in.. See how distracting it was? I am really glad he didn't get in. He made my finger twitch on the remote control

Naards? Me cynical? No Way!

Heck if they were truly going for the best artists then there would be an imbalance of the sexes even because there were better singers in the blokes than the women. But then again there were better singers in the blokes than the blokes that got in.

What irks me is that I am going to have to listen to Americas Country sparkly hyped up Casey Chambers for absolute weeks. She is either going to explode or bust an ankle.

I was happy to see Arielle gone. i couldn't fathom why ST even gave her an extra chance- she shouldn't have even got that far.

I would have loved to see Hayley get in ( not the one who did Annie lennox copying the other one)

Hee Jun is going to look pretty bizarre this week doing Mary J Blige (who I find utterly horrid on her own)

I think it is a pity Jennifer missed out - but they had to chose the little blonde or her and they made it pretty clear that the contestants were not allows to be anything like Adele in quality or style

hahaha well we all know how Shannon made it, and it wasn't for her stellar voice. Steven Tyler is just scared that her father is going to knock him one for that comment.

Her last performacne reminded me of a beauty pageant, was truly awful. I mean she can sing in key, she has a "good" voice not great but she doesn't have that performance and uniqueness that some of the other contestants have.

I had the total "Miss America Pageant" flashback when she sang last week -- complete with the pageant dress & hair. "And here comes Miss Florida, whose community platform is 'Adopt a Grandparent,' singing some random theme song of Bible camps everywhere...Go Light Your World.'"

I'm sure she's a nice girl, but she is definitely enjoying the Santorum effect right now.

It'lll be interesting tonight. I'm just happy I won't have to listen to Adele or that Georgia on my mind song again! I like Adele, like Georgia on my mind, but sometimes they just totally murder the songs.

agree, I think Georgia should be on the "banned" list of audition songs now to be honest...so over it...

apparently someone kills it tonight with a whitney song...

I disagree, i haven't heard it very much at all, it's a hard song to sing, and following in those footsteps-i think she did an amazing job.

my thoughts

joshua- good but not great

elise- love her voice but not a great arrangement

jeremy- okay, very safe performance. not memorable.

skylar- improvement on last week

hollie- good but not great

erica- great job. really like her voice, think she will do better with different material though

heejun- not great at all, and i want to see something not a ballad type song.

jermaine- okay, not terrible, but not good either

shannon- should have never made it in the first place, really bad this week- such a good song too!. I think the term for her voice was monotonous

jessica- had me transfixed, amazing

phil phillips- enjoyable, good, but i don't think he is as innovative this week as they made him out to be- the song is pretty awesome by itself & that carried him a bit imo.

colton- good, difficult week for him, but i thought he pulled it off

deandre- big improvement on last week, good performance. his voice didn't sound so all over the place this week.

picking shannon to go!

Stevie Wonder for the guys, Whitney for the girls. So someone had to sing "I will always love You."

Jessica hit it out of the park.

Elise -not great at all, totally wrong genre for her.. what a shame!

Hollie- great. 2nd after Jessica

Erica- really good

Shannon - GOODBYE!!

Skylar - Seems that when she increases the volume she has a touch more control in her voice. Just lucky this week. Bloody awful first bit of the song. Usually awful completely!

Joshua - really good

Colton- ditto

Phil -ditto

Jeremy- lacked his usual flair. Bad song choice.

Jermaine - not great. Will be the boy picked to go.

Heejun - It seems everyone loves his humorous side after all. At least he's serious when he sings, I guess he wouldn't have (somehow) got this far otherwise..

Deandre - far better this week, must've been the style of the song.

That's my rundown . Do the judges pick one who stays?
....SHANNON is outta there I hope.

shocked that joshua and erica were there though - ridiculous!

Meh that jeremy is gone. Would have preferred Shannon just because she was soooo crap. I also hate the "oh I know I could have done so much better" dribble that they do - bad luck baby, do it right the first time!

OMG!! Agreed, Joshua and Erica?? Heejun not even in the bottom 3 guys? WTF???

OK Jeremy has had too many chances. Fair enough.

Ugh, unfortunately Shannon fights for herself up there, however pathetic it is. It must get to people!
