Hi girls happy.gif

Cams - Beautiful congratulations on your little boy! How exciting!! (And I reckon it would have been amazing fun to shop up big for your little man!!)
I bet you're really looking forward to your Port Douglas Babymoon - it would be absolutely amazing. We were going to go there for ours, but the hotel / resort that I absolutely HAD to stay out was booked out, so I chucked a tanty wink.gif One day we'll get there!

Cacti - The wall sticker is so cute! I love the monkeys dangling from the trees! They're super cool! Good work on starting the baby's room - you're a step ahead of me there! (Plenty of time for that wink.gif ). When are you going to Port Douglas? (With your baby!! Gah! Can't believe we'll have babies soon!!). And YAY for being on maternity leave! All down hill from here for you!

AFM - Regular movment - YAY! Still not feeling it from the outside, but I can certainly feel lots of movements on the inside of my tum. LOVE it! (There was another kick!) Other than that, I really don't have a lot to report. Have to admit, my pregnancy has been a breeze - but I'm so sick of the waiting for the weeks to count down. I'm more than ready to be a mummy!!

Hello to anyone that still looks in waves.gif

Which resort is the one you need to stay at, Fairey? I think we need a link to drool over.

I'm going up in summer - hope it's not too hot for bubs! My friend who was my bridesmaid at our wedding lives in Cairns, so we're taking bubs up to see his/her honourary aunty original.gif I'm a bit nervous about it already but I'm assured that four month olds are very portable!

More than happy to oblige, Cacti my sweet!

http://www.shantara.com.au/

It's an adults-only resort... which I thought would be perfect for a babymoon wink.gif
I absolutely HAD to stay in one of the one bedroom pool deck apartments. Was a wee bit disappointed that they were booked out though.
On the flip side, we would have gone there for 5 nights, whereas we spent 9 nights away in Tassie and Melbourne in the end.

You'll be fine taking bubs away (I've heard that it's easier when they're little too!) - and that's so sweet that you're going to visit his / her honourary aunty original.gif
And think of all the swimming you can do with bubs (you'll have to for the weather!)
Are you going to do swimming lessons with your bubba? I'm planning on starting them as soon as we're allowed original.gif

I like the little individual decks by the pool! Gorgeous!

I hadn't thought of when to start swimming lessons, but we'll do them at some point. I'll have to see if there's a heated pool that offers lessons around here somehow, or make Tim go instead of me!

Wow Fairy that place does look gorgeous. We're staying at Rydges Sabaya Resort, hoping it is really nice. We got a garden view room, partly to be away from the pool so hopefully a bit quieter for sleep ins if we want. So can't wait!!! Must be only two and a half weeks to go. Might have to start tackling my bag this weekend so I know if I have to get anything else since I don't know what fits anymore!!

Hopefully you will be able to feel kicks from the outside soon. My hubby is back next week from work for five weeks so I'm really hoping it starts some time whilst he's home. I'm starting to feel more kicks this week though. I also have an anterior placenta so not sure if that will effect when we can feel bubs from the outside.

Cacti I'm sure you'll be fine in Queensland. Yes it will be hot but if you're wanting to do sight seeing you can always try do most of that in the morning and try avoid the hottest part of the day. What a journey it is going to be, at least for your first big trip with bubs it will be to see friends and will hopefully be able to relax more than your general holiday.

Ards best wishes for the future, Noah is just gorgeous. I hope things continue to improve for you and it's so lovely to hear how fantastic Mothers day was for you.

Hi ladies,

I thought i'd join since I got a BFP on Tuesday. Still can't believe it's true or that it'll actually last, but taking each day as it comes and keeping my FX that we make it through the whole 9 months!

Seeing my naturopath on Sat ('cos I've been going through a natural fertility clinic for TTC) so will see what she says the next steps are! Assume she'll send me to the clinic's doc for a blood test, but not sure what's next after that. Eeeek! Very exciting to finally be in the grads though!
