*preg & m/c mentioned*

Pingy, I'm sorry !! It hurts like hell. I don't know if it helps right now, but have a growing little FET in my tummy & am an absolute believer in the success of FETs over fresh transfers.

Ellie, sorry to hear the scan didn't go so well. Hoping those little two grow & get big enough to be viable; cliche cliche but it only takes one.

peaches, glad you had a lovely time away with DH, good luck with the next procedures.

Pilar, how are you traveling ? I am assuming you may have had another scan towards the end of this week, hope it's all going well.

Welcome Malibu, this is a great thread, full of lots of lovely supportive ladies. After a year of IVF (9 transfers), I also had 2 pregnancies & two m/cs & also am a high responder, so got lots of eggs, usually one or two to freeze out of maybe 18-20. FS put me on clexane & prednisone after 8 transfers & with the first FET cycle using prednisone, I was able to hold onto the little embie & am now 20 weeks pg.

emski, With the CM, I wouldn't worry, might be worth just mentioning to clinic when you go in for monitoring. Good luck ! And please don't take this the wrong way but I had a little giggle that you're taking orangutan ! It's probably spell correct from orgaultran & if not, I've clearly had too many cycles & know all the drugs back to front !

Hi Hattie & waterlily, tomsmum & chloe & everyone else ...

AFM, all is well ... I have my 20 week scan next week so we should be able to find out our little baby's gender.

Hi Ellie

I am sorry about the 2 follicles. I hope they grow bigger. It is only the first scan. I had two follicles with my last stim cycles, I had BFP. So don’t give up.

Hi to everyone else.

Pingy - bbighug.gif I'm sorry to hear that this wasn't the time for you - that moment when you find out that this isn't the one is awful......the other ladies have mentioned that FET might be the key....from what I have read there seems to be a large body of people who only have success on FET or fresh (not both). Someone on here mentioned someone who doesn't bother with fresh and goes straight to FET.

btw- The perfect stat record doesn't have a time limit....so it should be 100% of us "over the line" in our bodies own time....

Hi everyone TGIF! That was one long week! Seems like a blur of injections and sleeping a lot.

Ellie sorry to hear you only have two follicles showing bbighug.gif I know you were hoping for more, but fingers crossed they equal two strong eggs!

Liltuss I just call it orangutang cos I can never remember the real name! I got caught out with the FN today discussing what's next for me and I said "so I have my last shot of the oran...organ...erm I just call it organutang and have forgotten the real name...". She had a bit of a giggle.

Peaches I have tonight to go with the jabbing!

AFM second scan today and 13 follies so trigger tomorrow night and EPU on Monday which I'm pleased about (also means a super long weekend for me!) Transfer booked for Thursday. FS has agreed to put two back in if we get two which I'm also pleased about. I can breathe a sigh of relief that I got over another hurdle!

Hi everyone, hope the weekend has been good to you original.gif

Just an update on where I'm at after the great March post-scan meltdown of 2012 wink.gif Back on daily jabs of Gonal F (450 - which was what I have been on for the last 9 days) and we'll rescan on Tuesday am to assess how the two follies are looking. If they are big enough, we will go ahead. At my age (42) my FS says 'why waste the opportunity to get 2 eggs', which I was thankful for - as I would rather go for it even with a tiny chance than give up the cycle completely. I've had great positive stories from ladies on EB about how their cycle with one or two follies ended up being the one that worked. I am sure I'll get better at this roller coaster as I go along.

Good luck Emski - sounds like you've burst off the blocks. We'll all be waiting anxiously to hear how you go.

How are you feeling now Pingy?

Waterlilly - are you taking Royal Jelly for LOR? I am looking to supplement with anything that might jolt my ovaries into action.

Everyone - I am taking Elevit but am thinking of switching to Conceive Well Gold because it has the CoQ10. However, Elevit has a higher dose of Folic Acid (800 versus 500 for CWG). What are people's thoughts on these two supplements, or other magic potions that might give my ovaries a kick start?

Love Ellie x

Ellie, quick one.
You can't really take too much folate - the body will just dispose of what it doesn't need. So if you take the CWG, just buy separate folic acid to up that.

I took Cq10 separately, every second night with the CWG.

Hi Everyone

Emski: Good luck with your EPU today.

Ellie: What is LOR? I started taking Natures and Goodness Royal Jelly 100mg tablet along with BioCeuticals In-Natal(this has 60mg of CoQ10 t00) ,BioCeuticals coQ10 Excel 150mg and BioCeuticals DHA Omega.

To tell you the truth I feel bit ridicules cause when I was trying for my DS I only took folic acid by Blackmore till I got BFP. Then again I am 42 now.

How are you Pingy? The good thing about FET, there is no need to take drugs and you don't have to skip a cycle.
