I currently have DD2 (3.5) and DD3 (5 months) in the BJCS, though DD2 is just getting too tall for the seat and is dragging her feet around on the floor when she's in the bottom seat facing out. If she's facing in she hates it and starts kicking DD3 or the back of her chair.
DD2 is not yet ready to walk everywhere herself, so I need another option. Just wondering if anyone has a pic of their toddler on the glider board with a seat attached so I can see how it all fits and if there's enough room for my DD2 to stand there to make it a viable option. TIA |

There's a youtube video on the glider board http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGLRb-VP2UM...feature=related
I have the City Select but decided against the board. |

Thanks for the link. That looks like an awfully tight squeeze, and the mum's got barely any room to walk at all. I would probably be kicking that board thing all the time. *sigh* now to see what other options I have.

I have the glider board and use it at times for my 2yr4mo old DS. He is approx 90cm tall and still fits in the seat ok, his legs do not touch the ground if facing out.
I don't have a pic of it in use but can give you some feedback. I don't love the gliderboard. I use it only if we drive somewhere like the zoo and know he will be out and walking around quite a bit. Even with the handlebar extended I find it hard to push the pram with him on the board and am almost standing to the side of the pram to push it. The issue is not his height but my foot placement, I feel like I keep hitting the board and can't stride properly. If we have to go down a hill I feel like I have no control over the pram at all. I have found that at times when I try to secure the board in an upright position when he is not on it it actually locks the wheel and I can not move the pram, this means I have to walk with it extended even if he is not on it. Other times it will fasten up without a problem, I can't figure out why it happens but is frustrating! |

I have no idea if any of these will work with the pram you have, but I've been looking for alternatives to toddler boards for all the reasons mentioned previously.
The Strolli-rider looks fantastic but I can't say whether it works or not because I haven't yet tried it out anywhere. The Buggy Pod would be great for outings to places like the Zoo where you don't need to be fitting through shop aisles or the like. This mountain buggy scooter attaches a variety of different prams and connects to the side on most of them. |

I have the glider board with the city select. I find that as long as I put the seat in the lower position (not the second seat attachment, just the lower position on the main frame) and extend the handle, there is heaps of room. DD1's head just pops up between the handle and the seat and she holds onto the hood of the seat for support.
If the seat is in the higher position then I kick the board all the time and it's not worth the effort. The video is with a different model pram and I agree- it looks very awkward. Hope that helps! |

Agree with this. Also, I find with the BJSC that if I have the glider board on the long length for some reason, it will get under my feet a bit, but if I am not doing a great deal of walking (just at the shops or something) it is easy enough to stand to the side of the pram and manouver 1 handed |
