Hi everyone

Recently my nearly 11 mo DS has been waking up screaming in immense pain. It's happened quite a few times but I don't know whats causing it. It doesn't seem to me like it's pains in the belly because he arches his back although he has burped a couple of times during these episodes. Last night it was around midnight that it happened and all the other times has been while he has been sleeping as well. I found on most occasions, if I rub the left side of his body quite hard it seems to calm him down. The poor little bugger basically fell asleep from exhaustion after a half hour of full on screaming sad.gif I feel useless coz nothing that I do seems to help. Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this??? I haven't changed his diet at all either. TIA

sounds like it could be reflux? arching his back and burping is symptoms of a reflux issue.

I would take him to the dr and see what they say.

Relux would be waht I would ask about first. Although often when my children woke up yelling it was something as simple as they'd been lying on their arm to long lol.
