It's Friday, or "junk day" as we call it meat pie tub of grapes packet of wheelies 80cents to buy a small packet of chips This is her friday ritual. She eats well all week just so she can have junk day!! Wish I had her will power!

Grapes for fruit break Two rice crackers and a babybel cheese for recess A cheese & bacon roll bought from the bakery on the way to school (special treat) with grapes and blueberries for lunch.

I love Fridays - I hardly have to make a thing! They both took a sandwich - that's it. School provides fresh fruit for morning tea, then they all have icypoles at lunch time in hot weather.

Cheese and vegemite sandwich on grain bread, green grapes, a small container of sliced cucumber and red capsicum, a yoghurt and a bottle of water.

DS took: 4 cheese sandwiches a nectarine muffin bar some potato chips in small container a bottle of water. DD2 took: 2 cheese sandwiches a banana muffin bar some potato chips in a small container a bottle of water

Today: wholemeal plum jam sandwich green apple two wholemeal rice crackers small tub of custard apple juice some dried fruit and one small piece of licorice water

All 4 take the same thing. Mandarine + kiwi fruit for fruit break grapes, rice cakes with vegemite, popcorn, nectarine for recess Ham, cheese, lettuce on wholemeal, banana, cherry tomatoes, carrot sticks and banana muffin for lunch. Water bottle and $1 for canteen. They have "free fruit and veg" all day in class which means they can eat as much of either as they want throughout the day so I always make sure they have the extra in case they feel like it through the afternoon between lunch and home time.

Amall tub of peaches But before I get shot down for starving my child, she is 17 and that's is all she wanted. She may get something from the canteen if she took money, but I'm guessing it will just be the peaches.
